England international Djed Spence has left Tottenham Hotspur to sign for Inter Milan after the reigning Italian champions paid 30 million euros for the 26-year-old right-back. Spence has signed a permanent deal until June 30, 2031. He leaves Tottenham after making 85 appearances and scoring twice following his arrival from Middlesbrough in July 2022.
Spurs paid 14 million euros for him, and he became one of their most effective defenders last season as they narrowly avoided Premier League relegation. Spence also emerged as a key member of the England team that finished third at this summer’s World Cup and previously spent six months on loan at Genoa in 2024.
He is the second England international to join Inter in two weeks after John Stones, and is expected to form part of Inter’s defence alongside Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco.
